We’ve Changed Our Name — Meet Paysetra

After years of building under the name Cadency, we’re excited to announce the next chapter in our journey. We are now Paysetra.

This change is more than a new name; it signals our evolution and the growing impact our platform has on modern finance teams. As our platform has expanded to cover more of the B2B payment lifecycle, we’ve outgrown the rhythm-focused name of our early days.

Why Paysetra?

Paysetra combines “Pay”, the core of what we help businesses do, with “-setra”, a nod to everything that surrounds it—automation, workflows, orchestration and infrastructure.

It’s inspired by the idea of “et cetera”—because modern payment operations aren’t just about sending or receiving money. Everything in between matters.

Paysetra is payments—and everything that makes them work.

Why the change — and why now?

When we started, our focus was helping businesses bring order to receivables. Today, our platform has grown to handle:

  • Embedded payments (ACH, cards, auto-debits)
  • Reconciliations, tax handling, and payment plans
  • Customer portals and click-to-pay features

In short, we have gone from rhythm to orchestration — and our name needs to catch up.
